The Meadowlands Convention and Visitors Bureau (MLCVB) was founded in 2003 as a division of the Meadowlands Regional Chamber, which recognized that its destination assets required a mechanism for promotion. The MLCVB is a comprehensive destination marketing organization for the metropolitan New Jersey area. The overarching goal of the organization is to put “heads in beds” at the hotel properties within its membership. Based on economic impact studies, accommodation accounts for approximately 23% of total tourism spending in the region. Therefore, the region’s unique sports, entertainment, ecological, business and transportation assets benefit from this strategy and are promoted within the CVB’s programming.

The MLCVB has, additionally, become the leading voice for the region as it seeks to attract world-class events to its venues and to develop additional tourism assets. We employ this advocacy with the goal of bringing long-term benefit to our stakeholders and the entire region
