MRC Contractor and Building Services Committee Strategic Plan 2012

Purpose:

The purpose of this committee is to bring all interested chamber members involved in the construction industry together in an effort to support each others business by referrals and identifying projects within the Meadowlands region.

Vision:

The committee will grow to the point of needing subcommittees and will work with other committees within the chamber as a resource for all chamber members and businesses lactated within the MRCC region.

The committee will hold monthly meetings along with quarterly networking meetings that bring both chamber and non-chamber members together to discuss the common interest of development in the Meadowlands Chamber area.

Mission:

The mission of the Building and Contractor Services Committee is to give exposure to the construction industry; showcasing what we do.

Goals & Objectives:

• Grow the Committee by attracting new businesses to become members of the MRCC


• Create sub-committees of this committee for chamber members who want to do business with Builders and Contractors.


• Give back to the community by working with the youth of the community


• Relay new policy and procedures from the state and local government as they apply to the building industry.


• Develop a service fair for Realtors and Developers


• Support and participate in the Small Business Expo
